Baxley's is your quaint down town Chocolate store. They make all types of chocolates and fudge and they serve Italian Jalato and Ice cream. The old squeekey wooden floors adds to the fun of shopping downtown Sylva NC. Oh! Did I mention that they have Sugar free Chocolates too!!

Delicious gelato! I decided on the cherry sherry cheesecake. The cherry chunks were like little bits of candy. Absolutely delicious! The young lady who helped us let us sample a few flavors which was very helpful. The strawberry and chocolate were also delicious.

This is my go-to place for chocolate. I usually walk out of there with a pound or two of dark chocolate pieces (they're small than kisses and bigger than chips) and a couple of dark chocolate covered marshmallows. I'm also a big fan of the seasonal truffles - especially the lime truffle, which pairs well with chardonnay and the coffee truffle that pairs well with red zin. The owners are awesome people who truly care about the community.

Delicious local chocolate located right in Downtown Sylva. Best chocolate store I have ever been to and my favorite, PROMISE! The owners and employees are so helpful and friendly, they always remember me and make me feel welcome. Very clean store and they are taking all COVID-19 precautions. I love their toffee, (THE BEST and super addictive) gelato (also the best), truffles (to die for), and chocolate covered pretzels (you can't just have one). They also have delicious fudge, sugar-free options, and a TON of other options. They have the perfect selection and it is more than worth a visit if you get the chance. Actually, just make time to stop by because you will not regret it. Sylva is lucky to have such a great place to grab a treat for yourself or a gift for someone else. Enjoy!
